FNC+ QUICK JAW CHANGE 3-JAW POWER CHUCK

The FNC+ 3-jaw power chuck, is an improvement over the previous FNC style chuck. New features include:

• Now available in either straight or angled base jaw serration.
  • Forkardt added the availability for a straight base jaw serration. This design will accept most competitors base jaws, allowing you to save on tooling costs, when changing chucks.
  • The angled base jaw serration model accepts legacy Forkardt FNC base jaws.
  • Please make sure to notify your Forkardt sales representative, which version you prefer. 
• The bore has been enlarged to meet, or exceed most machine bores, to maximize bar feed capability
• (3) additional mounting bolts to provide additional rigidity.

The FNC+ 3-jaw power chuck is a universally applicable wedge style power chuck that offers a quick change jaw system as a standard feature. The jaws for the FNC+ are European Standard and the top tooling is easily interchangeable with other standard chuck models available in the industry. The patented trapezoidal wedge hook profile allows for the transfer of high gripping forces and optimum efficiency when machining at high speeds, while maintaining high accuracy. The jaw travel time for the FNC+ chucks is much quicker than most other quick change jaw chucks due to the shorter stroke of the central actuator. Designed to minimize weight, the FNC+ provides the option of running at higher speeds than most other quick change jaw style chucks.

The FNC+ has many available mounting adapters, ensuring capability with all common machine spindles. All Forkardt chucks are manufactured from the highest quality materials and are produced in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
